Buyer and Seller Etiquette
Buyer and Seller Etiquette outlines how we communicate on Circular Sourcing in order to create a great experience for everyone.
Buyers Do:
- Reach out to sellers with specific questions about fabrics
- Order a swatch or view samples in Our Showroom prior to ordering
- Be respectful when communicating with sellers or the Circular Sourcing team
- Ask for an approximate roll delivery price to your postcode from sellers if this is not listed
Sellers Do:
- Respond to buyers within 2 business days of messages being sent
- Create great listings with thorough and accurate information to make it easier for buyers to know if your fabric is right for them
- Process, pack and send orders within 3 business days of order placed
- Provide tracking numbers to sellers within the order
- Be respectful when communicating with buyers or the Circular Sourcing team
Buyers Don’t:
- Ask sellers if they can provide you with swatches if they are not available on the listing
- Ask sellers is they can provide more or less than the minimum order quantities they have available on the listing
- Ask sellers for a discount on the product listing price
- Ask sellers to continue the transaction outside of Circular Sourcing (this is a violation of our Terms of Service and can result in buyers or sellers being removed from the platform)
- Ask sellers questions about technical issues with the website or things not related to the fabric (contact Circular Sourcing for that stuff!)
Sellers Don’t:
- Ask buyers to continue the transaction outside of Circular Sourcing (this is a violation of our Terms of Service and can result in buyers or sellers being removed from the platform)
- Forget to keep your inventory accurate and updated on all your listings
